The Canonical Links feature in the SEO toolkit simplifies the addition of canonical links to web pages, improving SEO, preventing duplicate content issues, and enhancing website performance. Users can easily add canonical links and verify their implementation, addressing common SEO challenges.

How to Add the Canonical Link?
Accessing Funnel or Website Pages
- Go to the "Sites" section in the left-side menu.
- Navigate to the funnel or website you want to update the SEO meta data for.
- Select the specific page you want to edit.
Editing SEO Metadata
- Open the page inside the Funnel Builder
- Click on the SEO Meta Data icon, the icon resembling a page with a magnifying glass, at the top of the builder
- Click on the option that says "Links & Tags"
- Go to the "Add Canonical Links" section
- Click the "+ Add" button
- Enter the URL of the preferred version of the page
- Click the "Add" button
- Save SEO metadata and "Publish" the funnel to apply the changes.
- Preview the page to ensure the canonical link is correctly implemented.
How to Verify ?
To confirm the implementation of canonical links, follow these steps:
- Open the funnel page in a new tab.
- Right-click on the page.
- Select "View Page Source" - OR - "View Source Code" from the drop down menu
- Check the source code to verify that the canonical link is present and points to the intended URL.
