Tap to Pay
POS (Point of Sale) Collections are now possible through this option. Tap 2 Pay offers a checkout experience like no other with its swift and secure way to collect payments.

Please Note: This feature is currently available ONLY for US locations. For other countries outside the US, It will only be available once you join the BETA program. Check the links at the end of the article to join the Beta Program.

Make sure to enable location services for the Lead Connector app so that you can use the Tap to Pay feature.
- You'll see a pop up that says "Allow "Lead Connector" to use your location."
- Select either "Allow Once" or " Allow While Using App."
- This is required in order to use the "Tap to Pay" feature.

How to Use Tap to Pay
- On the Mobile App.
- Click on the navigation menu icon ( it's the 3 line icon in the upper left hand corner ).
- Click on the cog icon.
- Tap the toggle next to the "Tap to Pay on iPhone" setting to enable it.
- Return back to the main screen.
- Click on the dollar sign symbol in the center, at the bottom of your screen.
- You'll see a pop up that says "Allow "Lead Connector" to use your location."
- Select either "Allow Once" or " Allow While Using App."
- This is required in order to use the "Tap to Pay" feature.
- You can use the "Keypad" to enter a custom amount
- If you enter an amount on the keypad, you can tap the "Item details" button to enter a name, description, quantity, edit the price, and set a tax rate, for the product.
- You can also toggle on "Save for later use" to save this product to use again and again.
- Or you can choose a product from your existing "Catalog" of products.
- For a product that is already in your catalog, you can select product variants, quantity, and price, in addition to being able to edit the product's name and description.
- Add applicable tax rate [ The tax must be created using the desktop app on your laptop or desktop computer ].
- Tap "Review ( # Items )" [ it'll be a green button at the bottom of your screen ].
- Tap "Add Customer"
- If the customer is already in your contacts list you can use their name of email address to pull them up and select them from the dropdown menu.
- If the customer is not already in your contacts list, to create a new contact record type in the new customer's email address, then click the "Create New Contact" button.
- You will need to enter a name and email address or phone number for the contact.
- Once you entered the customer's information, click the checkmark in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
- Tap "Add Discount" if you want to add a discount.
- By default "Discount Percentage" will be enabled
- You can enter the discount percentage in the "Enter discount %" field.
- Click "Done" to apply the discount.
- Or toggle OFF "Discount Percentage"
- You can enter the dollar amount of the discount in the "Enter discount amount" field.
- Click "Done" to apply the discount.
- By default "Discount Percentage" will be enabled
- Tap the "Choose Payment Instrument" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the "Tap to pay on iPhone" button in the middle of the screen.
- Following the on-screen instructions in order to process the payment.
- Ask your customer to tap their contactless payment method (e.g., Credit card, Apple Pay, etc.) to the App for the app to collect the payment to your Stripe account.
Please Note:
- Make sure you user profile has the "Payment" permissions toggled ON, or you will not be able to see the "Tap to Pay" feature within the app.
- Double-check product details, quantities, and prices before finalizing the transaction.
- Make sure that your Stripe account is connected/integrated on the Web app prior to accessing Tap 2 Pay on the mobile app. If you see a message saying "Stripe not connected" then that means you need to integrate it on the web app first. You'll need to do this on a desktop or laptop computer.
You can integrate your Stripe account by going to Payments > Integrations > Connect
Supported Devices
1. All Android devices (with NFC capability) running on Android 8 OS or later.
2. For iPhone Users: An iPhone XS or later running on iOS 16 or later (US)
Please Note: Tap to Pay won't work on the Beta releases of iOS. We also highly recommend updating to the latest OS for the best experience.
