Email Notifications in Forms and Surveys

Email Notifications in Forms & Surveys offer way to be notified of form and survey responses without setting up a separate workflow. Notifications can be sent to team members and an autoresponder with the respondents answer can be sent to their email. Users can turn on either feature or both for their individual surveys and forms.

  1. Clicking on the Bell icon in the top left hand tool bar of your form or survey will open the Email Notifications sidebar.
  2. Toggle on Email notification will turn on the email notification. This is intended to be an internal notification to your team and business that someone has filled out the form.
  3. In the Email Notifications sidebar, you can configure the following fields:
    1.  Subject: Set the email subject. If left empty, the form or survey name will be automatically added. You can use custom field also in subject.
    2. Email (To): Now, you can enter multiple email addresses with ease. Just enter them and watch them convert to email tags.
    3. Sender Name: If left empty, the location or agency name will be used as the sender’s name.If sender name is empty, it will take default locations name.
  4. Click the blue save button at the bottom of the panel before saving the form.

Auto Responder

Auto Responder Toggle

  1. Clicking on the Bell icon in the top left hand tool bar of your form or survey will open the Email Notifications sidebar.
  2. Toggle on Auto Responder will turn on the email notification. This will automatically go to the email address entered in the form.
  3. In the Auto Responder sidebar, you can configure the following fields:
    1.  Subject: Set the email subject. If left empty, the form or survey name will be automatically added. You can use custom field also in subject.
    2. Reply To: If you want any reply to go to a different email, you can set that here.
    3. Sender Name: If left empty, the location or agency name will be used as the sender’s name.If sender name is empty, it will take default locations name.
  4. Click the blue save button at the bottom of the panel before saving the form.
