Upsell Products in Store Checkout for E-Commerce Stores

Setting Up Upsells in Your Online Store

1. From Sites -> Stores -> Your Store, add a new page for your upsell. Either create from blank or use existing to create your page.
2. Once you have created your page, add a full width element and row to your page for the upsell.
3. Click on Add Element button then drag and drop the Upsell element in the row. The Upsell element will be at the bottom of the elements list under the store section.

   1. Store owners can add multiple upsell components in different columns in a row.

      

4. Select the upsell element on the page to configure it. From the right hand panel, at the bottom, under Upsell Settings, select your upsell product under Search and Select Product. Choose the sale action and enter the URL or website page that the visitor should be sent to after clicking Buy Now. This can be to another upsell page or a Thank You Page.

   

   1. You can enable or disable shipping charges from the toggle towards the top of the panel.

      

   2. You can adjust your fonts, colors, spacing and button text from this panel.

5. Set up a button that allows the customer to skip the upsell. Adding a button where the button action is linked to the thank you page. This will allow the customer to go to the thank you page without purchasing from the upsell page.

   

   1. This step is important not to skip. If you do not add this step, the user will be stuck on upsell page and needs to purchase an upsell item to move to next step.
6. You need to go back to the checkout page in the builder and set the sale action on your checkout to be your newly created Upsell Page. This will send your customers to the upsell page after they complete their checkout.
