Troubleshooting Steps for a Safari Browser

We recommend using a Chrome or Firefox browser, since FG Funnels is optimized for these two browsers. We cannot guarantee the internal side of the platform will function properly in a Safari browser, but here are some troubleshooting steps which may help with Safari:


1) Update MacOS and Safari

  • Install the latest software updates, and restart your Mac after updating.

2) Check Safari Extensions

  • Disable extensions to see if they're causing issues
  • Update or remove problematic extensions

3) Clear Cache and Cookies

  • Go to Safari > Clear History and Website Data - OR - use Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data

4) Test in a Private Window

  • Use File > New Private Window to bypass potential stored data issues

5) Disable Content Restrictions

  • Check Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions

6) Reset Safari

  • Use a tool such as CleanMyMac X ( or something comparable ) to reset Safari to the default settings

7) If the steps above do not resolve the issue, we do recommend using a  Chrome or Firefox browser.
