Creating a Course or Membership Offer
Once you have created a course or product in your courses area, you need to create an offer for it in order to grant access to it or use it within workflows. You grant customers access to an offer and that gives them access to the courses/products/memberships inside of the offer. You can think of it like putting a barcode on a product that makes it able to be sold.
Creating An Offer
- Navigate to Memberships -> Courses -> Offers.
Click the blue Create Offer button towards the top right.
Give your offer a title.
- Select the first product to be attached to the offer. If you have more than one product to add to an offer, you will be able to add additional products shortly.
- Select whether the offer is free or paid and if it is paid, give it a price.
- If you select paid here, you can still grant access to the offer to someone who has purchased through an order form or another means. This price is specifically for an upsell offer or if someone were to stumble upon the offer checkout. We do recommend putting the regular price of the offer here.
- Choose whether the offer should be in test mode or live mode for offer checkout.
- Click the blue Create button.
Editing An Offer
Once you have created an offer, you can edit the details of the offer by going to Memberships -> Courses -> Offers and clicking on the offer you want to edit.
From here you can give the offer a description, add or remove products that are included, change the price, change the thumbnail, draft or publish the offer and change the offer access timeframe. Once your offer is created and you have added the included products, it is now usable to grant access and use within workflows.
