1. Enabling Auto-Complete in Forms/Surveys

For any form or survey where you want to use an address search bar:

  • This feature can be set individually for each form or survey.
  • You can turn it on to show the address search bar.
  • You can turn it off to hide the search bar entirely (manual entry only).

Steps:

  1. Go to Sites > Forms (or Surveys).
  2. Select the form or survey you want to add an address search bar to.
  3. Drag and drop the updated Address field element onto your form or survey.
  4. Click on the Address field and toggle ON the Auto-Complete Address toggle.
  5. The form or survey will now show an address search bar.

On the live form or survey, users can type and select an address from the suggestions in the dropdown menu. The system will automatically fill in:

    • Street
    • City
    • State
    • Country
    • Postal/Zip Code

2. Mandatory Address Selection (Search Bar)

You can make selecting an address mandatory, ensuring that people must select a valid address from the search suggestions.

What This Toggle Does:

  • Enabled: Users must select a valid address from the search results in order to proceed.
  • Disabled: Users can submit the form or survey without using the search bar. They can manually enter their address.

Use Case:

  • For simpler forms, you can hide other address fields entirely. Users only see the search bar, but the submission still includes the complete address.

When the "Mandatory to Select Address in Search Bar" setting is enabled, the form will look like this:
