How to add an up-sell step to your funnel

Setting Up Your OTO Step in a Funnel

  1. Create OTO Page
    • Click "Add New Step" to create a new OTO page.
    • Name the page and set the path.

    • Click "Create Funnel Step."


  2. Position OTO Page

    • Drag the OTO page between the order form page and the confirmation page to maintain the sequence.


  3. Import OTO Page
    • Select "Use Existing" to import an OTO page from another funnel in the account.

    • Choose the funnel and specific OTO page to import.


  4. Connect OTO Product
    • Go to the Products tab and add the OTO product.

    • Set the price, product name, and ensure the main product is toggled on.


  5. Publish OTO Page
    • Check the step URL and name under the Publishing tab.

    • Open the OTO page in the builder by clicking the edit button.


  6. Set Button Actions
    • Ensure buttons on the OTO page lead to the confirmation page.
    • Link one-time payment and payment plan buttons to the next step (confirmation page).

    • Create a button for customers not interested in the OTO to proceed directly to the confirmation page.


  7. Customize Page Elements
    • Edit button design, text, and actions to align with the desired customer journey.

    • Add or modify elements like progress bars to enhance the OTO page.


  8. Finalize and Save
    • Review all changes and settings made to the OTO page.

    • Save the OTO setup to complete the process.

Setting Up a Second Chance OTO or Order Bump

  1. Clone Order Form Page
    • Click on the order form step
    • Hit clone funnel step

    • Rename the cloned step for identification


  2. Connect OTO Product
    • Click on the products tab

    • Connect the OTO product to the second chance order form


  3. Enter Builder
    • Click on the overview tab

    • Click the edit button to enter the builder


  4. Adjust Order Form Settings
    • Set button action to go to the confirmation page
    • Check and adjust settings under the advanced tab

    • Ensure order bump option is disabled


  5. Set Up Second Chance Order Bump
    • Clone the step for the order bump
    • Rename the step for identification
    • Connect the same product used in the order form as the order bump

    • Adjust settings in the builder for the order bump page


  6. Finalize and Share Pages
    • Connect a domain under settings
    • Share the URL of the second chance OTO or order bump page with your list or contacts

    • Make any final changes to step name or URL if needed
