Connecting Square with FG Funnels
This article will go over the steps for connecting your Square account to your FG Funnels account.
You will be able to process one-time as well as subscription payments by adding products under Payments > Products. This includes support for all features available such as order forms, invoices, online stores, forms, memberships, payment links and more. You will be able to track all payments made under Payments > Orders and Payments > Transactions, and all existing trigger functionalities will also be available along with this integration.
You will see all the physical locations available in your Square account, on your Square integration within your FG Funnels account, and you can choose which Square location you want to be associated with your FG Funnels account.
Existing Square customers can click on 'Reconnect' to reconnect their Square account and allow access to fetch Square locations which will fetch all locations, and you would be able to select the location you would like to associate with your FG Funnels account.
By default a physical location will be selected as soon as you successful connect/reconnect your Square account to your FG Funnels account, which you can change by using the location dropdown menu.

- Important Note: If you set Square as the default payment gateway, and you also have Stripe integrated with your FG Funnels account, then you will not see the Stripe option on your checkout page. This is because Stripe and Square cannot be used at the same time on a checkout page.
- Click on Payments on the left side menu.
- Then click on Integrations at the top.
- Scroll down to find the Square integration.
- Click the Connect button on the right side of the Square integration option.
- Click the blue Connect button next to the live mode option.
- Log in to your Square account.
- Click Continue to receive a verification code.
- Enter the verification code and click Verify.
- You have successfully connected your Live Square account.
- Next, follow Square's documentation to create a Sandbox account.
- Open the Developer Console in a new tab.
- Click on Sandbox test accounts on the left.
- Click New Sandbox test account to add a new one.
- Enter a name for the Sandbox account and select the country (e.g., US).
- Click Create.
- Click the option to go to the "Square Dashboard" for your new sandbox account.
- Go back to FG Funnels and click Connect.
- Review the permissions required for the Square integration and click Allow.
- Check that the integration is enabled.
- Inside you FG Funnels account, select your preferred location (e.g., FG Funnel Sandbox) from the dropdown menu for your Live mode account, and then for your Sandbox account.
- If desired, set Square as the default payment gateway.
