Transferring from Twilio to LC Phone? Email us at support@fgfunnels.com, so we can initiate the transfer process from Twilio to LC Phone. If you want to transfer your current Twilio phone number to LC Phone, the transfer process may take up to 3 business days.
If You Are Transferring a Phone Number From Anywhere Else ( Not Twilio )
First confirm that you can port the number out: Please contact the company your purchased the phone number through, to ask them if they allow phone numbers to be ported out. They may already have an article in their support library that goes over how to port a phone number away from their phone system.
Important Details:
When sending SMS or MMS messages to non-business consumer phone numbers, you will need to be aware of regulations and laws in the areas you are sending in.
If you will be sending to U.S. phone numbers, you are required to register your number for A2P 10DLC, and all messages sent are subject to the requirements of U.S. mobile carriers.

Depending on the type of number you are porting, and the losing carrier, this process typically takes between 4 - 6 weeks. Please prepare the information below and fill out this form: Porting Form

10. Submit your port request form
Please keep in mind that for local US numbers, an approved A2P 10DLC campaign & brand registration is required to enable messaging on your ported number. As soon as you submit your port request form, we encourage you to complete your A2P registration.
Once your port request has been completed. Please allow 1 to 2 days until the SMS services are routed to LC Phone, otherwise the A2P provisioning process may fail.
Porting Your Canadian Telephone Number ( Non-Twilio Number) to LC Phone
To port your Canadian phone number, the steps are similar to the steps above. Depending on the losing carrier, this process typically takes between 4 - 6 weeks. While you’re waiting, be sure to check the phone numbers’ capabilities that will be available to you after porting.
Twilio charges a one-time porting fee of $7.00 USD per number.
1. Email support@fgfunnels.com. In the email include your FG Funnels account name ( usually this is the same as your business name ), and ask us for your LC Phone Account SID, and an External Ticketing System ID.
Once we provide you with your Account SID for LC Phone, please prepare the information below, and fill out the following Twilio form: Porting Form ( porting internationally )
1. Your Customer Account Number ( the one in your current carrier’s records )
2. Customer Name ( the name should appear exactly as it does on the telephone bill )

4. List all the Telephone Numbers which you authorize to change from your current phone service provider to LC Phone ( list the number(s) to be ported in E164 format; for example: [+][1][xxx][xxx][xxxx] )
5. A Letter of Authorization ( Here is the Twilio Canadian Letter of Authorization [ written / dated within the last 15 days ] . This must be a PDF file and cannot exceed 4MB)
6. A scanned ( or electronic ) copy of your most recent billing document (This must be a PDF file and cannot exceed 4MB )
