How to Send a Bulk Email From the Contacts Section

Sending Emails in Drip Mode


  1. Prepare Your Clean List:
    • Ensure you have a clean deliverability filter or smart list created. If not, refer to the clean best practices video for guidance here: Getting Started With Smart Lists

      Select Contacts:

    • Navigate to the contact section.
    • Use the clean filter or list to filter your contacts.
    • Select the contacts on the current page by clicking the checkbox.
    • If you wish to select all contacts, click the option to select all.

      Initiate Email Sending:

    • Click on the email icon to initiate sending a bulk email.
    • Confirm your action by clicking "Proceed."

      Compose Your Email:

    • You can either select a pre-created email from the marketing section or compose a new email from scratch.
    • If composing from scratch, pull the content from a prepared document (e.g., Google Doc).

      Configure Drip Mode Settings:

    • Click on the option to send in drip mode.
    • Name the action (e.g., "Drip Email Campaign").

      Set the start date and time for the email (e.g., on the 23rd at 8:30 AM).

      Specify the sending rate:

      • Recommended: Send in batches of 20 emails every 1 minutes.

Leave Default Settings:

    • Do not change any settings in the bottom section as it may restrict the sending window and cause interruptions ( your email will stop and start sending based on the windows you set ).

      Send the Email:

    • Click "Send Email" to finalize the process.
    • A confirmation will appear indicating that the system is processing your request.

      Monitor Scheduled Emails:

    • Go to the bulk actions section to view the scheduled email.
    • Click on the details to review the action name, from name, email subject line, processing date, and batch sending details.

      Manage Scheduled Emails:

    • If necessary, click on the three dots on the right side of the scheduled email to pause, cancel, or edit the email settings (batch quantity or start date).
