Setting Up An Opt Out For Specific Email Sequences
This article will go over how to set up an option in your emails for people on your list to unsubscribe only from a particular sequence. For example, your contacts can opt-out of launch emails while still receiving regular newsletters emails from you.
In the following video, we'll walk through:
- Setting up a trigger link that contacts can click and have a tag added to their contact record.
- Then how to set up a smart list that excludes contacts with that tag, so they don't receive those particular emails, but are not fully opted out of your regular email list.
Important Note: If you do not already have a clean smart list, you'll need to create a clean smart list first, by following the steps here: Getting Started With Smart Lists
