Learn Through A Funnel: Live Webinar

The Learn Through A Funnel series is intended to guide you through the process of building out specific types of funnels. This is your roadmap through the steps in building. The roadmap is broken into phases and each phase has steps to complete the phase. The steps below cover the action items to be taken and lead to articles with more details on how to achieve each step.

In This Article:

Phase One: Live Webinar Account Prep

The live webinar funnel prep steps are listed in the Learn Through A Funnel: Account Prep article.

There are no additional steps for prep beyond that article. Once you have completed all the steps in this article, you can move to Phase Two: Live Webinar Funnel Build.

Phase Two: Live Webinar Funnel Build

As of early 2025, FG Funnels still recommends building your webinar funnel within Sites -> Funnels. You can learn more in the article Creating a Webinar in Funnels vs. Webinars.

  • Create an registration form (or duplicate an existing one) under Sites -> Forms -> Builder using any or all of the following fields. Make sure to include something about the webinar in the name so you can easily identify it.  How to Create a Form
    • Email Address (set as required)
    • Name (set as required)
    • Phone (Optional - must have A2P brand/campaign set up and approved first)
    • Checkbox Consent (Optional - only required if collecting phone numbers)

  • Create a five page funnel with required pages for Live Webinar or clone an FG Funnels webinar funnel. How to Clone and Share Funnels
    • All FG Funnels Design Collections come with a webinar funnel template. You can learn more about our design templates and how to request them at How to Request a Design Collection (Funnel/Website Templates).
    • Required Pages:
      • Registration Page
      • Thank You Page - This page is specific to a live webinar as you will need a place to send visitors to after they register before the live event.
        • If you are using an FG Funnels template, you can clone the registration page, rename it and then take out any extra sections you don't need. How to Clone and Share Funnels
      • Watch/Replay Page (If you are using one of the FG Funnels templates, you can rename the broadcast room page to be the replay page.)
      • Order Form
      • Order Confirmation

  • Style the funnel with your copy and branding
  • Setup the product in Payments and link it to your order form so it is available to purchase in your funnel. About Products + Order Forms
